How do you spend your perfect Christmas day? I know that I really love Christmas and it’s a time of year that’s really special to my friends and family. We all love to get together on Christmas and spend quality time together but everyone spends it differently and it’s fun hearing different traditions from different people.
Here are a few suggestions as to how you can spend your Christmas day with your friends and family this year.
In the morning I always love to have bacon sandwiches or sausage sandwiches and wake up with everyone. We will usually save the presents till later around lunchtime, once everyone is awake and wide eyed.
Around 11am we will open up lots of the gifts and watch some cheesy Christmas television and maybe even have a mid-morning nap. If you’re planning to go out for lunch, it’s a good time to put on some makeup and a new dress.
You could go somewhere for lunch, it’s nice to get out and about especially on Christmas when it’s tempting to stay in your pyjamas all day. It’s also nice to get dressed up and have a fancy meal especially if you got new clothes for Christmas. If you’re local, you can eat Christmas day dinner in Cheshire at Mottram Hall. It’ll save someone all the hard work of cooking and baking too – meaning everyone gets to enjoy the day and relax.
Once you’ve had Christmas dinner everyone feels pretty sleepy so it’s nice to go home for another nap (bonus points if it’s your second one of the day). after a second nap it’s time to enjoy some Christmas movies on the TV or Netflix and relax into the evening with a cup of Bailey’s or a bottle of beer.
