Your wedding day…most women dream of this day from the time they were little girls. You knew who you were going to marry, the dress you were going to wear, and the location of your wedding. We were too young then to think about the things we needed to do to prepare ourselves for that big day. How you want to look and feel on your big starts with you, and there are a few easy things you can do to make yourself feel great.
Your wedding day is supposed to be a day of happy tears, not stressful tears. We’ve all seen the show Bridezillas where if anything goes wrong, or doesn’t go the bride’s way, she turns into this crazy person who wreaks havoc on those who stand in her way. The last thing you want to become is a bridezilla on your wedding day. So, to prevent that from happening, lets explore some good habits to pick up now, to get you wedding day ready.
Teeth Whitening
Nothing’s worse than getting your wedding pictures back, and your teeth are yellow, and teeth whitening is such an easy thing to do prior to the big day. Everyone’s seen the toothpaste commercial of the girl talking to her friend doing the tissue test. Don’t be the girl who failed the tissue test on your wedding day. Be proactive and start getting your teeth whitened in preparation for your big day.
Hair removal
Hair removal is a big part of your big day as well. Regardless of where you’re getting married, you don’t want to be out there looking like a wooly mammoth. Most women have facial hair, and some of us have it to where we may have little mustaches, and lady moustaches are NOT cute!
You can go to a spa and get a laser hair removal treatment, or you can do your own laser hair removal. They actually have these available to you in the stores and online. Definitely worth a try. Your wedding pictures will thank you for it!
Skin Care
The moment you get engaged, you need to start taking better care of your skin, if you don’t have a skin care regimen already. Soap and water just won’t do in this case. Exfoliating is a great way to start your skin care regimen. Lots of exfoliants are made of some type of sugar scrub. That scrub is what will remove the dead skin cells from your face, and you’ll want to do this 2-3 days a week.
After exfoliating, you’ll then want to utilize a good face wash (preferably mild). Your face won’t need a harsh face wash after you exfoliate. The face wash is what will get your face a fresh clean look, as well as an undeniable glow. Your pores will also open up, allowing your skin to breath.
Now that you’ve exfoliated and cleansed your face, you’ll now want to tone your skin. Adding a toner to your skin care regimen will then tighten those pores, and minimize the appearance of wrinkles…this, dear, is what will help keep you looking young! Last, but certainly not least, you need to moisturize. Moisturizing will help seal in moisture, and prevent your face from looking dull and tired.Your skin will be smooth and soft.
You can even create your own beauty blog about skin care, and share with other brides-to-be what you’re doing, how you’re doing it, and the products you’re using. All you need to do is pick a fitting domain name that will give followers an idea of what your site will be about, and then you have the freedom to express yourself in whatever way you please. When done correctly you can even make money from your blogs.
Adopting a skin care regimen is definitely a habit that you’ll not only want to do in advance for your wedding day, but it’s also a great habit to have in general. There’s nothing wrong with having gorgeous skin on your wedding day, nor on any other day!
