One of my favourite cities is Sydney, so it figures we’ll be going back there for our honeymoon at the end of the year. I remember last time we visited, I was looking all over the place for recommendations and romantic things to do in Sydney, so this time, I’m making my own list that I can refer back to. Hopefully, whilst we’re there, we’ll be able to tick off all of these romantic things to do in Sydney.
That’s the plan anyway 😉
So, if you’re looking for some romantic things to do in Sydney – hopefully this list will be of some help!

With some of the best views of the harbour and city, you honestly can’t go wrong with a stroll around the botanical gardens. During the day is beautiful, but sunset stroll would win extra romance points.

Sometimes romance is hidden in the simplest things, such as drinking coffee, eating ice-cream and watching the world go by. One of the best places to do this on the steps outside the Opera House.

Sunbathe on Manly Beach
There’s nothing like a beautiful beach to make you feel all romantic inside. So obviously I had to include a few of Sydney’s beaches in my list of romantic things to do in Sydney. Manly was one of my favourite beaches, especially on weekdays, when it wasn’t so over crowded.
Book a hotel with a harbour view
If you have the budget, booking a show-stopper of a hotel with an incredible view of the harbour is uber romantic and one of the most memorable things you can wake up to. You will pay extra for a room with a view, but it’s worth every penny.
